May the universe / the source / god forgive us. Look what we've, to the earth, to animals & to each other! And don't pretend that ur all innocent either. If we cared enough we'd have stopped it!

Its chaos! & its becoming more & more barbaric! I can barely deal with. But I'm trapped in this biography, in this body & there is no escaping that!

My mind is open, broken, but open - this parachute can't be closed up again. At least not until it falls hits the ground & the carnation is over. Then maybe it gets packed up againn & u get to have another go. Who knows? 6 billion people don't!

Anyway, about that open mind. I'm really happy for those that have found a religion that they can have faith in, or in my opinion delude themselves with. So please don't even try that stuff on me. If I want a crutch ill go to the doctor - it would be just as helpfull to me as religion!

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying there is no god; just that religion is a liecense th judge. Did you catch that? Quick hey?
No really - the truth is we are all just fucked up! Waha there I did it again. You have to keep up now.

So seriously, if you knew beyond a reasonable doubt that there is no such thing as tHe truth, only your reality - would you be okay with that? Could you carry on living if you knew you were completely alone in your universe?

What's the point of being here on your own? And yet most of the time, that's what I would prefer - to be on my own.

There is comfort in knowing that only you can hurt you. That you can control. Its far worse when someone else hurts you. All you can do is wonder why? And we all know the answer - there is something wrong with you!

Do you ever dislike someone because it gives you pleasure to be mean? Maybe - but most of the time its cause you don't like something about that person. Certainly not the French companies as there are EXTREMELY strict rules that govern the industry. They have to follow these rules to actually be able to even send the products to market.

The European cosmetics industry is committed to the replacement of animal testing on its products and ingredients. We are proud of the important role our industry has played in the development of alternative approaches to animal testing in Europe and internationally. We began phasing out animal testing on finished products more than 10 years ahead of the legal deadline (in place since 2004) and have led or contributed significantly to the development of all the replacement methods that are available to date.

We believe that replacing animal testing is in the interest of all concerned. Therefore we have a long-standing and ongoing commitment to replacing animal testing. We are playing a leading role in the development and promotion of alternative testing methods and new approaches to ensuring the safety of our products and ingredients.

For more than twenty years, the European cosmetics industry has assigned its best scientists, laboratories and significant funding towards the development of replacements to animal testing

Feel free to visit the following websites: www.colipa.eu/ www.ifraorg.org/

ARE YOU AN INFORMED customer…?

COSMETIC ANIMAL TESTING

They don't want to talk about it. They don't want you to know about it.

But behind the glossy advertising and famous celebrities,

the biggest cosmetics company in the world hides a shameful secret…

L'Oreal does not want to reveal animal testing to their customers, and they certainly

don't want to reveal the disgusting range of tests carried out on the animals…

Disgraceful eye irritation tests are conducted by securing rabbits so they are immobile while substances are

dropped into their eyes (rabbits are used because they have no tear ducts and therefore cannot relieve the stinging and pain).

Poisoning takes place whereby groups of animals are continually force-fed an ingredient until half of the group die. Other animals have their skin shaved and scraped until super-sensitive, then the ingredient is applied to test skin reaction - making sure that the poor animal cannot scratch or remove the substance.

It is hard to imagine the pain suffered by these defenceless animals. But we all know how sore it can be when we get something in our eye or our skin is scraped - at least we can immediately do something to relieve the pain. Think of what it would be like if we were unable to touch or stop the pain, not just for a minute or two but for hours running into days.
It's simply so disgraceful!

L'Oreal is the single biggest obstacle
to ending cosmetic testing on animals…

SO… NOW THAT YOU ARE INFORMED.. That’s 6% more than an average breed.

I’m sorry that you think it’s ok to assume an aggressive dog that resembles a pit bull is a pit bull. I’m sorry you won’t take into account the different things that affect bite statistics, such as misidentification, unreported bites, and the population size. I’m sorry you won’t look at the statistics, which say pit bulls involved in serious attacks make up 0.01% of the population, which is the same in every breed. I’m sorry that you won’t look at the study done to see which breeds are more likely to bite, in which pit bulls come 4th ….. from bottom; the American cocker spaniel come first.

I'm sorry that you side with and protect animal abusers by marking the breed of dog and not the irresponsibility of the owner. I'm sorry that by your logic I could steal a car, run some people over with it, and and then blame the make of car for the accident as I walk free.

I’m sorry that for some reason you think that people who are attacked by "friendly breeds" such as retrievers and poodles (yes, they can attack people - what a shocker!), are somehow insignificant, as opposed to people attacked by "devil breeds". The media agrees with you.

I'm sorry you generalize one breed of dog with one group of people. I'm sorry you can't see the love and determination that many often highly educated, non-criminal, and "normal" types of people show towards this breed and the great personal sacrifices that they make to take care of their dog responsibly. I’m sorry you assume all pit bull owners, such as Buster Brown, the Little Rascals, Theodore Roosevelt, Helen Keller, and Thomas Jefferson, are criminals and thugs.

I'm sorry you cannot go into the shelters and see the hundreds of abandoned and abused pit bulls, dying only for the inane "crime" of being born the breed they are. I'm sorry you cannot see the look of disappointment in their eyes as someone walks by their kennel, and refuses to consider adopting them based on an ill-educated fear-mongering reporter. I'm sorry that you cannot be there when the animal looks at a human for the last time, and in spite of being betrayed by all people they have met, their tail still wags as someone approaches with the syringe.

I'm sorry you cannot be there to rescue pit bull puppies from a plastic bag in a dumpster, dumped there by someone switching their illegal and inhumane activities to another, more lucrative breed. I'm sorry you cannot understand the difference between canine and human aggression in the way that this breed can.

Yes, I'm saying my pit bull is smarter than you.

I'm sorry that the mediaeval witch-hunting genetics of intolerance, generalisation and racism make you feel the need to vilify a breed of dog. I'm sorry that justice, equality, tolerance, common sense are all things you hold dear as a fellow person and expect from others, but do not yourself offer toward a pit bull or its caregiver. I'm sorry that you don't take the constructive time to petition changes in the animal cruelty act and in the criminal code that would deal out serious punishment to the real animal abusers.

I'm sorry you cannot see the disappointed look on a puppy's face when the people petting it quickly frown and walk away when you tell them it is a pit bull. I'm sorry you feel the need to terrorize my family and my dogs for crimes we never have and never will commit. I'm sorry you don't have to live in fear of your dog's safety from hysterical and mentally unstable people trying to inflict all manner of evil upon your dogs.

I'm sorry that you cannot see my breed working in some of the best Search and Rescue groups in the world, saving countless lives each year. I'm sorry our media censors and refuses to print the breed name ‘pit bull' when in connection with a positive act such as saving a person or child from a burning house, drowning, wild attacking animals, etc. I'm sorry you cannot see the many pit bulls registered as therapy dogs and bringing so much joy to another misunderstood, neglected demographic in our society, the senior citizen.

I am sorry you can't see a pit bull kiss a child, step carefully over a kitten, or play in a sunbeam. I'm sorry you cannot wake in the morning to feel a warm pit bull cuddled next to you in bed, and know that you are their total world, and even if the house caught fire and trapped you, they would stay with you to the end.

But, now that I really think about it, I'm not at all sorry you don't own a pit bull.

You do not deserve one. ~ AUTHOR Unknown at the time of posting

Feeling the fear & doing it anyway!

What is this powerful emotion? Fear is the awareness or anticipation of perceived danger. When we pursue despite fear we take risks. The Oxford Dictionary defines risk as the, 'chance or possibility of danger, loss, injury, etc.' So why on earth would any of us 'risk' it at all?

Because it is only a 'chance', a 'possibility'; and there is an alternative outcome. The alternative to loss, is of course, reward. Generally speaking, the higher the risk, the greater the reward.

But how do we release ourselves from the shackles of fear to stride forward and take the risks anyway, especially the big ones, with huge payoffs? The ones that are so devastatingly scary, that we only dream of ever getting past the fear and only long for the reward.

I've come to believe that the way to do that is to ask yourself what you are really afraid of. What is the worst thing that can happen? What is the worst case scenario? In most cases the word 'no' or looking foolish are the most undesirable outcomes. Then ask yourself what would happen if you take no action? What is the best thing that can happen by taking no action? Well, 'no-thing' will happen: nothing! Is that better? Letting your life go by, your hopes & dreams unfulfilled?

Failure is not the same as not trying. Failure, in fact is not failing at all, but learning. One of the many things you can learn from failure, is to put risks into perspective. Hearing 'no' really isn't that bad, after all. Never internalize rejection, use feedback from rejections to learn, to refine your product or service. Persistence, perserverance & dedication will yield results. With every perceived setback, you are in fact moving closer to your goal.

Einstein is believed to have said that insanity is repeating the same action over and over again, whilst expecting different results. It would be madness, and self harm to continue doing something that is not working, but many great ideas and products would not have been around today if the people who created them, gave up the first time someone called them crazy, or told them it would 'never work'. Critics make you better. Never give up!

But the fear reamins. Fear will never go away as long as we have egos. Fear (and the ego) has a very good reason to exist. Physical pain is a warning sign, it protects you from harm. Fear serves us in the same way. But we all know some things we fear will never come to pass. We must harness our fear, make is serve us, not cripple us.

Begin by objectively looking at your fear. Is it holding you back, or is it realistically telling you to stop what you're doing, before you hurt yourself or loose something of value? Once measured in this way only you can decide whether or not the risk is worth taking. If you still find yourself hesitating, ask yourself, which is worse: conserving things as they are, or giving up on your dream?

Living with your fear, acknowledging the risks, learning from the failures, and enjoying the success from determination; now that's a life worth living!

I've harnessed one such fear as a daily driving force, motivating me into action. The fear, sitting in my old age saying to myself how I wished I had tried this, or wish I had done that.

So ask yourself today, 'What would I do today if I were not afraid? What would I do today if I knew success was guaranteed?'
